RE: Our little essence at 11 weeks_//

Baby at weeks 11,with 4.80cm Gynae:Doctor Douglas Ong
[Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre]

Written by Doctor Ong for the test of down syndrome

My 2 sets of supplements, vitamins and Calcium

Finally after a long wait of 3 weeks, today is my appointment with Doctor Ong for a check up.
Arrived at the clinic by 9am,as I'm the first patient of the day.Nevertheless, gonna wait for another 30minutes for the ever busy doctor then.

The moment when I was there, the nurse gave me a measurement of my blood pressure,my weight as well as a strip to have it tested on the urine itself for diabetes.
Today into my 11 weeks of pregnancy that I bet all sort of tests started coming out for the little one.

Doctor Ong did a scanning on our little one.Hmm,the scanning shows that at 11 weeks, baby is measuring at 4.80cm with head, body, legs.arms ears shown in the scan.
Dearie and myself was like, wow it's so amazing which made both of us so excited over it.

The most amazing part was that, little baby was just awake from the sleep that he/she actually stretched from one end to the other end of the water bag!
The legs of our little baby was actually moving high up in the air, with one hand waving towards us during the scanning.

We were given a ''little talk' regarding the test on down syndrome from the doctor.
After serious thought,we decided to give it a miss.At the same time, there will be a talk regarding the package when seeing the doctor for the next few months of my pregnancy then, which will be given on the next appointment, which is the 24th January.(Just one day before my birthday)

In fact,I am coming towards the end of my first trimester in another 1-2 weeks time, which I do hope the morning sickness will get over with it sooner.
Well, seeing the little one growing inside me,I bet this is the most exciting part of my life.

RE: Mark my 10th weeks_//

Finally,time flies...
Today officially into my 10 weeks

Today mark my 10th weeks with my little one in my womb.Sometimes I do wonder how is my little baby doing, has he/she grown a bit here and there?
My next appointment will be on the 27th Dec,which is just one week from today.
Only through the scan, only can I get to see my little one, which made me felt that I'm getting nearer to the little baby inside me.

Yesterday I had a very bad day,I felt uneasy all the way from morning till night, which only lying down on bed made me feel better.Today was totally different,I felt as normal as usual and it seems that my morning sickness is gone and I could talk so well and feel so energetic as before.
I'm wondering,is my hormone doing the trick?
Or like what Doctor Ong mentioned the morning sickness will slowly go off by week 10 onwards?

*Shall monitor for the next few days and see how thing goes.*

Had found their products quite unique,be it for some gifts giving or for ourselves it do worth it.
Had tried on their stretch marks oil and a cream for face,it was marvellous and the fragrant was so natural then. Therefore,I strongly support this brand and do hope that mom to be to give it a try,as you might like the products..

Mostly on natural, safe products for mummies. They have stuff like, shampoo, facial wash, hand lotion, skin care, not only that, they do have products for babies too....
Well,I do have this intention to purchase more when time to come.

RE: I'm 9 weeks 3days pregnant_//

Today is my 9 weeks and 3days,Somehow or other I thought morning sickness will somehow be gone. But still,I do felt uneasy and miserable. The nausea seems bad each day, although I didn't puke but the feeling was there.

At times,I felt all right for the day,but it doesn't goes the same for next day.Am I being abnormal then?Lately I had been reading online forum or some knowledge from the web to understand my doubts. I do hope that my first trimster will be over pretty soon so as to eat and work normally.

The feeling was damn bad having to work and being sick at the same time.People who who been through will understand the feel of it.
I suppose for thie pregnancy,my morning sickness was damn bad.Even so,I often tell myself this, with morning sickness it then shows that the little baby is growing well inside me.For the sake of it,I gonna bear with it.

RE: The 2nd Scan @ week 8 with 1.86cm

Baby @week 8,with 1.86cm Gynae:Doctor Douglas Ong [Mt Elizabeth Medical Centre]

Right here is my 2nd scan at 8 weeks. Was thankful that little baby is growing bigger with heartbeat detected..The heartbeat goes like this'''bomp bomp bomp''just like train moving. All these while,I puke 5 times within 2 weeks.

Was glad that I puke,as this shows that baby is growing well.Seeing this scan made me happier than ever.I do hope that this 2nd pregnancy will last till the due date.
Doctor Ong had mentioned that this time round, for this pregnancy my progestrone raised up to 124,which was better than before.Normal range is at least 80.

At the same time,I was given folic acid, iron tablet and duphaston(hormone pill)... There was no vitamin given at this moment. The hormones pill made me feel the nausea everytime I took.It was to increase the number of hormones in my body to support the pregnancy then. Supposedly to be taken 3 times per day,but I do feel miserable if I were to take 3 times per day. Had checked with Doctor Ong is it all right for just one time consume,he added fine with it. Well,I had lost a bit of weight then.

Doctor Ong had wanted me to eat just before the nausea comes. At the same time,to eat some small meal even there's any nausea feeling to cover the hunger.I am trying to do so,even though I do find it hard to eat anything when the nausea feeling was there.
Right now,I do look forward to the next scan which will be on the 27th December, the third scan. Hopefully everything will be fine for the pregnancy to move on.

I'm not too sure whether would my little baby be able to hear me at this stage, but still I do speak to him/her to be well and fine. *Another 3-4weeks time, will be the end of my first trimster, keeping my fingers cross*

RE: My first scan on 21st November,week6

Baby @week 6,with 0.3cm
Gynae:Doctor Douglas Ong [Mt Elizabeth Medical Centre]

My first scan on the 21st November 2008...Baby at 6weeks with 0.3cm long.
Doctor Ong confirmed the pregnancy then.Even though the baby was small,I had often tell myself,to relax and stay happy no matter what.

As baby will be able to tell whether the mummy is happy or not.Starting from week 6,I started my morning sickness. The feeling was damn bad.I could hardly concentrate on my work and had been taking medical leave then.

The nausea feeling was miserable with bloated stomach,in fact I burp quite a lot.I felt sleepy all the time, which I almost doze off every moment when facing the PC.
Although I had miserable feeling, but I often tell myself this.It shows that baby is growing well in my womb and this is the sign that tells me so. For the sake of my little baby,I must bear with all the hardship.

RE: Discovering of my pregnancy

Had actually created this new bloggie for our little one..*our essence of love* On the 15th of Nov,had actually went down to TCM to see the physician. This time round Physician He had asked whether had my menses came,my answer was ''no''....

It was tested positive withe the test kit by the physician that I'm pregnant!Feeling damn happy yet with a worried mind.I'm worried that history will happen again which I never want to go through again. There's a list of joy in my heart, but the worries were there.

After being diagnose as pregnant,my next task was to set out to see my gynae,Doctor Douglas Ong from Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre. You guys must be wondering, why I do not want to see the previous gynae ,Doctor Peter Chew from Gleneagles who operate on me last year.
Well,I trusted Doctor Douglas Ong more then.

Dearie actually made an appointment on the 21st Nov,Friday for a check up to confirm the pregnancy then.
