RE: Week 19 for girl girl

The moisturizer cum stretch mark cream

Girl girl at week 19,weighing at 250g for 13.42cm

The check up was changed again and again from Mon to Tues and via....
Due to one reason,as Monday was not a good date actually.
In the end,we still ended up with our appointment up Mount E Medical Centre in the morning.

Scheduled at 915am for my monthly check up,Doctor Ong always failed to come in at 9am sharp..*smile*After a long wait, manged to get into the room with dear.
Just before entering the room, girl girl was actually giving me a soft kick from one side of my tummy to the other side of it,all thanks to dear who kept disturbing girl girl 10minutes before Doctor Ong came.
The idea of it was to wake girl girl up when Doctor Ong actually scan on my tummy during the ultrascan.

True enough, when Doctor Ong was doing the ultrascan, could tell that girl girl was not fully asleep as her hand sort of like move from one side to the other. Her toes are fully formed whereby we can actually see her toe nails through the scan.
At the same time, she stationed herself in a comfortable position with half seated, half lying.
It was damn cute then...

Everything ended well, where I told doctor Ong that I actually had this itchy tummy that made me scratch non stop for days and days.He had given me a moisturizer cream which act as a stretch mark cream as well.

Plus, one more sad thing.I had actually gained 4Kg in just one month time.I was damn shocked then.Perhaps it's time for me to cut down on food every one hour.
Doctor Ong had suggested having 3 full meals. In between meals,if I feel hungry, should have some fruits instead.
Shall start by doing do,if not by my full term,I might have a big baby where there might be some difficulties in labour, where C section might be involved.

My next check up will be one month from now,on a weekday as well.
This time round,Doctor Ong will do a detailed 3D scan for baby girl.
It will scan for more things, and it might takes a while for the scanning. If baby is cooperative, within that 30mins will be done.If not it will take up to half a day for the doctor to do a detail scan.

*Just pray hard girl girl will be cooperative on that day*

RE: Pre-Natal Class known as ParentCraft*

Pre-Natal Class by Parentcraft at
Thomson Medical Centre

The topic for the class

Payment upon registered for the class

Now with the registration for pre-natal class, this is the time for payment.
A total of $235.40 was imposed on us with a difference of $40 as I am not deliver in Thomson Medical Centre.
Even though this is the case,we don't mind paying more with a better lecturer for the course then.

Somehow I read the brochures and do find that the course does cover some of the teaching which we gonna learn and benefit on us.
Although I had done some infant course in the past, but still I needed some refresher still.

*Now looking forward for the class on the 14th Mar 2009 at AMK Hub...*

RE: Pre-Natal class that going to start on the 14th Mar*

Currently into my 17th weeks and 2days of pregnancy. Can't seems to see any changes in myself, maybe I had been looking at the mirror everyday.
Supposedly to be seeing Doctor Ong next Saturday, but was postpone to the following Monday,23rd Feb instead.
Somehow,I really do wish to see how little girl girl had grown...

Just this morning,I made a call to Thomson Medical Centre to register myself for the parentcraft, which we call it the pre-natal class.Had heard lots of good review about this lecturer,Mrs Wong from my cousin and an online friend. Therefore, would like to give it a try for it.

RE: *Baby related matters*

Baby album for us to keep track of every details of our little baby

The front cover for this CD
It contains great soothing music for mummies and babies

The back cover with the name of the song written..

I've got these great gifts from my parents in laws as well as my sister in law. They had got this specially for me which I kind of feeling grateful for it.
I had been looking for some soothing song to be play at home for myself as well as for my little one.
Had read from some forums that playing some nice songs tend to be good for mummies as well as the little babies. It's kind of relaxing for the mummies and pre-natal for the babies.

Now with this CD on hand,I gonna play it at night, just before sleeping time.
I bet not long later,I will be getting some more for myself then.

Doctor Ong had mentioned that pre-natal should start on the 6mths of pregnancy.Currently in my 4mths,there is still another 2more mths to go.I know it's still early to start now,but there's no harm giving it a try then.
Therefore, dear had started reading stories to girl girl before we go into our dreamland.
He even printed out some nice stories to tell during night time.Dear had wanted to get some story books from the bookstore or even from the library for reference.

As for myself,I bet it's time for me to dig out my course material''infant and toddler'' so as to revise and to recall what I had learned in the past when attending the course.

The baby album is something which I had wanted to get.It seems that I don't have to find time searching for it,as there's one here as a gift for us.
The baby album allows us to keep track of every details of our little girl. From my pregnancy till birth, and from birth to toddler etc, with all the process and story of what happen during every single months of our baby.

It's a great book for mummies to keep track of their babies, which I make it a must to record it down so that girl girl can read it when she is able to....
